Houston’s annual celebration of food, community, and giving back is returning this summer as Houston Restaurant Weeks (HRW) 2026 brings together more than 200 restaurants across the region for a month-long dining experience benefiting the Houston Food Bank. The event will run from August 1 through September 7, 2026, giving diners weeks of opportunities to explore special menus from some of the city’s top culinary destinations.

Known as one of Houston’s biggest culinary traditions, Restaurant Weeks invites guests to enjoy specially priced multi-course meals while supporting hunger-relief efforts throughout Southeast Texas. Participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus featuring brunch, lunch, and dinner options, allowing diners to experience everything from upscale dining rooms to beloved neighborhood restaurants at an affordable price point.

This year’s event continues HRW’s long-running partnership with the Houston Food Bank, making every meal an opportunity to give back. A portion of proceeds from participating meals helps support hunger-relief programs, providing resources and assistance to families and individuals across the Houston area.

The 2026 lineup highlights the incredible diversity of Houston’s food scene, with restaurants showcasing a wide range of cuisines, including Texas favorites, Gulf Coast seafood, international flavors, modern American dishes, and fine dining experiences. Whether guests are searching for a new restaurant to try or returning to a longtime favorite, HRW offers a chance to discover the city’s vibrant culinary culture.

During the event, diners can expect specially created menus with options at different price levels, making it easier for families, friends, and visitors to enjoy Houston’s restaurant scene. Many participating restaurants also use the event as an opportunity to introduce seasonal dishes and chef-inspired creations that may not appear on their regular menus.

Beyond helping diners discover new flavors, Houston Restaurant Weeks provides an important boost to the local hospitality industry. The annual event brings increased attention to restaurants, supports local jobs, and encourages residents and visitors to continue exploring Houston’s diverse dining destinations.

With more than 200 restaurants participating and over a month of opportunities to enjoy exclusive menus, Houston Restaurant Weeks remains one of the city’s most anticipated food events. From casual lunches to memorable dinner experiences, the 2026 celebration offers Houston residents a chance to enjoy great meals while supporting an important cause in the community.
